ABOUT
Canopus [kuh-noh-puh s] is a very rare type of star with luminosity 12,000 times brighter than that of the sun. Often associated with navigation, good fortune and its ability to calm the sea, Canopus was named for the captain who ushered King Menelaus to Troy to retrieve Helen.
During WWII, Michelle's grandfather, Arthur "Mac" MacBain, was stationed on the naval vessel Canopus before being captured by the Japanese and imprisoned for three and a half years.
Canopus Communications embodies the legacy and honors the strength of its namesake. "With steadfast support and professional guidance, my clients are encouraged to take risks, chart opportunities and discover new ways to succeed.
